“If every church in America stood up and spoke out against abortion, it would fall like a house of cards.”  (Susan)

Summary

Please join us and several hundreds of thousands more pro-life voices for the annual March for Life in Washington DC on Friday, Jan. 27.

We will call on the President, on Congress, and on the Supreme Court to ban all abortions and to help rebuild a culture of life in America.  Details follow below for bus reservations along with a proposed announcement for church bulletins and civic club announcements.

Background

This year marks the 44th anniversary of the Supreme Court’s outrageous Roe v. Wade decision in 1973 to “legalize” abortion on demand.  Since then, an estimated 58 million unborn babies have been destroyed in that sacred sanctuary designed especially for them.  That is over 3,000 legalized murders in America – every day!

Some of these babies were even victims of partial-birth abortions, killed only seconds away from taking their first breath.  Not only is the child lost forever, but the mother too bears the lingering guilt, the emotional scars, and often the physical consequences of that fateful decision.

Our Mission

Laws matter, and that is why we are calling on the Court to overturn Roe v. Wade, for Congress to enact, and then for the President to sign new laws that would ban abortion and protect every child’s “unalienable right to life” from conception until natural death.  We also march so the entire world will know that no one has the moral authority to destroy innocent human life.

It’s the least we can do to end this horrible slaughter of the unborn and to speak out for those who have no voice but ours.  We must march until we can again say as a nation that we truly value the sanctity of all human life, made in the image of God, and that we welcome them in life and will protect them in law.

In addition, we march to show our support for hundreds of “Silent No More” post-abortive women who carry signs that say “I Regret My Abortion” and who then share their painful stories in front of the Supreme Court — but with a happy ending of repentance and God’s forgiveness.

For more details on the Rally that will be held on the grounds of the Washington Monument beginning at 12:00 and then for the March itself beginning at 1:00, go to www.marchforlife.org.
