America's Godly Heritage

The seminar begins with a study of the Biblical basis for government. It examines our Judeo-Christian heritage from the early settlers to our birth as a nation, identifies the enduring values and beliefs that guided our Founding Fathers, and reviews the key documents that embody those principles.
It then explores ways in which we have strayed from those beginnings and concludes with suggestions for how we can reclaim that heritage and return to our moral and religious foundations.
America’s Godly Heritage Tour
The Forum’s “America’s Godly Heritage” guided tour of Washington DC celebrates the beauty of Washington’s key sites and buildings that bear the imprint of our Godly Heritage, chiseled on its buildings and emblazoned on its walls.
The tour begins at Arlington National Cemetery, proceeds to a guided tour of the U.S. Capitol, and concludes with a walking tour of the monuments and memorials on the Capitol Mall – all reflecting tangible markings of our Godly Heritage. Laus Deo!
The cost of $35/person includes access to all sites, with discounts for groups of 10 or more, as well as for 2011 graduates of the Heritage seminar.

“It is the duty of nations as well as of men to own their dependence upon the overruling power of God … and to recognize the sublime truth announced in the Holy Scriptures and proved by all history that those nations only are blest whose God is the Lord.”
Abraham Lincoln
“We resolve that this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom.”
Abraham Lincoln, Gettysburg Address, 1863
