A Gallup poll taken in May of last year showed that 55% of Americans oppose abortion in all or nearly all cases.  A CNN poll taken a year earlier showed that 58% of its respondents held a similar view.

So what will it take to reverse the morally reprehensible and juridically flawed Supreme Court decision in 1973 that “legalized” abortion?  When will we once again recognize our responsibility under the law to protect all innocent human life, from conception to natural death?

In addition, what are the physical and emotional risks to women of having an abortion?  Why are so many women carrying banners at the March for Life which say “I Regret My Abortion” and vow that they will be “Silent No More”?  Who else will speak out about the pain of abortion to both the mother and the child, and what can we learn from their experience?

Finally, what can we do to help bring this American Holocaust to an end – and why does it matter anyway?

Those are some of the questions we will be asking Rita Dunaway and Deb Medlin as we talk about “The Inalienable Right to Life for All – including the Unborn”.

Rita is a graduate of the Washington & Lee School of Law, a former staff attorney with The Rutherford Institute in Charlottesville, a former VP for Public Policy with the Virginia Christian Alliance, and now staff counsel for the Convention of States project.  She is also the Deputy Director of the Valley Family Forum.

Deb is a former company commander with the US Army in Fort Bragg with a graduate degree in Environmental Science and Engineering from the U. of NC at Chapel Hill.  She has a powerful story to tell about her own experience with abortion.
