The Meaning of Christmas

Only two more weeks until Christmas, so what does that mean for us today?  Is it just about a baby born in a manger and wrapped in swaddling clothes?  Is it only about angels singing to shepherds in a field, and three Wise Men following a bright star and bearing gifts for the Christ child?

Or is it truly about the arrival of the Son of God, who came to earth in human flesh as our Redeemer and our Lord?  If so, what does that mean for how we live our lives today?  And how does He call us to speak to the culture around us?

Those are some of the questions we’ll ask our guests, Pastor Kerry Willis and Valley Evangelist Steve Wingfield.  They will bring the history of Jesus’ birth into our 21st century lives.  They will lift Him out of the cradle and explain how the power of His message and Spirit continues to transform lives around the world.  They will take Him out of the crèche and into the sober realities of our culture of today.
