An Amazing Dinner!
Everyone still remembers the first time they heard E.W. Jackson speak. For many of us, it was at the outstanding Celebration of God and Country dinner on the JMU Campus six years ago.
This weekend, we will present Part I of a three-part series from that great Celebration and then air the remainder of the program over the following two weeks. Even if you were there, you will definitely want to watch it again, either on WAZT-TV or online, and be inspired and challenged all over again – not just by Jackson but by the entire evening!
Reminder: See note at bottom for details about this year’s dinner. You don’t want to miss it!
Bishop E.W. Jackson
As many of you know, Jackson is the Founder and President of S.T.A.N.D: “Staying True to America’s National Destiny”. He is a former Marine, Harvard Law School graduate, and pastor who became so concerned about the direction of America that he decided to take a S.T.A.N.D. and run for public office, first for the U.S. Senate in 2012 and again in 2013 for Lt. Governor of Virginia.
He now travels throughout the country encouraging and mobilizing Christian patriots to help rebuild the Judeo-Christian values and Constitutional principles on which America was founded and has prospered.
The Red Skelton Pledge
But this program is not just about E.W. Jackson. You will also be treated to a deeply moving homily by Jim Henry on the real meaning of the Pledge of Allegiance, similar to what comedian Red Skelton did nearly 50 years ago. The Valley’s own “Faithful Men” will follow in full voice with the National Anthem.
That then leads into Jackson’s electrifying introduction and a powerful challenge to reverse the moral decline of today’s culture and flawed government policies and to restore America to its Biblical foundations. It’s a message you cannot miss – and will want to share with your family and friends as well.
